What AI sourcing is
AI sourcing finds people for a role who did not apply, and judges whether they fit. Keyword search matches the words a candidate wrote about themselves. Vort's AI sourcing works out what that person is likely to know and be able to do, from their career path, the companies they worked at, what their peers do and their wider public footprint, and shows the evidence for every conclusion.
The gap is real. The strongest people are already employed and rarely apply, and their public profiles rarely say enough to judge them: about half of the requirements recruiters set cannot be answered from a public profile alone. Vort infers them.
How Vort works, in three steps
- Describe the hire. Write the role the way you would explain it to a colleague. No boolean strings, no filters to configure.
- Vort reads the open web. Each candidate is enriched from every public signal Vort can reach, then scored against every requirement, must-haves and nice-to-haves alike, with the receipt behind each score.
- Call and hire. Roughly ten relevant candidates come back in about 90 seconds, with verified contact details and ATS sync.
What Vort reads
| Signal | What it tells Vort |
|---|---|
| Profiles and roles | Titles, tenure, moves |
| Code and projects | Repos, packages, commits |
| Answers and expertise | What they actually solve |
| Company data | Stack, scale, funding |
| Writing and research | Posts, essays, papers |
| Talks and communities | Conferences, threads, posts |
Peers matter as much as the profile. Vort's Inferred Stack completes the skills a candidate left off their profile, from what their actual peers in the same role at the same company work with, and labels each inferred skill with its confidence and the evidence behind it.

Refine in plain language
The Vort agent re-ranks, filters, compares and drafts outreach on request, and shows every step it took. Write "only Tel Aviv, and put fintech experience first" and the shortlist changes in seconds.
Briefs and the agent work in English and Hebrew.
Where the candidates come from
Candidates come from public web sources, enriched with verified contact data. Nothing is scraped from behind a login wall.
Privacy and compliance
Vort is built with the GDPR and Israeli privacy law in mind: opt-in by default, a candidate consent portal, and a data-subject-request flow built in. Formal certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001) are on the roadmap and not yet held.
ATS integrations
Vort sourcing connects to almost every ATS, including CIVI, Adam Total, Niloosoft, HarmonyHR and VScout, as well as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Comeet and Workday. Open roles are pulled in automatically.

Questions recruiters ask
- Do I need to write boolean strings?
- No. You describe the role in plain language, and Vort turns that into the query and the shortlist behind the scenes.
- How fast do results come back?
- Roughly ten relevant candidates come back in about 90 seconds. Across customer searches since June 2026, the median time from a new role to the first shortlisted candidate is 17 minutes.
- Can Vort find people who never updated their profile?
- Yes. That is what the inference is for: Vort completes missing skills from peers, company data and the person's wider public footprint, and shows the evidence so you can judge it.
- Does every candidate come with contact details?
- 80% of candidates have a verified phone or email in one click, the median across customer searches since June 2026.
