Best AI sourcing tools in 2026

The six AI sourcing tools compared here (Vort, LinkedIn Recruiter, Juicebox, hireEZ, SeekOut and Gem) differ most in how they evaluate candidates, where their candidate data comes from, what contact details they return, and whether they sit on top of your ATS or replace it.

Updated

This page was written by Vort, one of the tools on the list. Every fact about another tool comes from that tool's own website, linked next to the claim and listed with its check date under Sources.

Pick by the job you need done first: searching one large network, screening applicants you already have, running the whole funnel, or getting a short list of the right people with a way to reach them. Vort, the AI sourcing tool that wrote this page, is listed first; the order is not a ranking.

Vort

Vort is an AI sourcing platform that reasons over every public signal on a candidate: describe the role in plain language and get a ranked shortlist with a reason for every candidate and a verified phone or email. For each candidate it checks every requirement, searches public sources for the answer, and where the answer is not written anywhere it infers it and shows the evidence. More on AI sourcing and About Vort.

  • Built for: in-house talent teams and agencies, from deep-tech to software services.
  • Data: public web sources (profiles and roles, code and projects, company data, writing, talks), enriched with verified contact data. Nothing is scraped from behind a login wall.
  • Evaluation: every must-have and nice-to-have is scored per candidate, with a quote and a source behind each score. Skills a candidate never listed are inferred from what their peers actually do, with a confidence level.
  • Contact data: a verified phone or email on 80% of candidates, and 17 minutes from a new role to the first shortlisted candidate (medians across customer searches since June 2026).
  • Vort sourcing connects to almost every ATS, including CIVI, Adam Total, Niloosoft, HarmonyHR and VScout, as well as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Comeet and Workday.
  • Languages: English and Hebrew, for the brief, the refinements and outreach drafts.
  • Limitation: Vort sourcing launched in June 2026, and formal certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001) are on the roadmap and not yet held, as the FAQ states.

LinkedIn Recruiter

LinkedIn Recruiter is LinkedIn's sourcing tool for searching and messaging LinkedIn members, now sold with an AI agent called Hiring Assistant (product page). LinkedIn says it is for recruiters who hire consistently, and that Hiring Assistant "reviews thousands of applicants against your criteria in minutes".

  • Data: LinkedIn's own network, which LinkedIn puts at more than 1 billion members.
  • Search: keywords, Boolean and 40+ advanced filters, plus Hiring Assistant.
  • Integrations: connects to your ATS, CRM and email provider; the product page names no specific ATS.
  • Languages: not stated on the vendor's site.
  • Limitation: the product page describes contact through InMail, up to 150 per seat per month, and does not describe phone numbers or email addresses (product page).

Juicebox (PeopleGPT)

Juicebox, also called PeopleGPT, is an AI recruiting platform that searches people in natural language across 800 million profiles worldwide and labels each result as a good match, a potential fit or not a match (product page). Its agent pulls context from the job description, the intake call and past hires, and adjusts with each batch.

  • Contact data: contact credits for email and phone (plans page).
  • Integrations: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and 40+ other ATS, including Comeet, Workable and Workday.
  • Compliance: SOC 2 Type II certified, with SSO and access control, per its home page.
  • Languages: not stated on the vendor's site.
  • Limitation: the product page shows match labels but does not explain how the AI scores or ranks candidates behind them (product page).

hireEZ

hireEZ is an agentic AI recruiting platform for enterprise talent teams that runs on top of an existing ATS ("Agentic AI on top of your ATS") and searches more than 1 billion profiles across 45+ platforms (product page). It covers the funnel beyond sourcing, including scheduling and hiring analytics.

  • Integrations: 40+ native ATS integrations, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS and Greenhouse (plans page).
  • Languages: not stated on the vendor's site.
  • Limitation: the product and plans pages do not say whether candidate phone numbers or emails are included, so ask before you commit (product page).

SeekOut

SeekOut is an agentic AI recruiting platform for recruiters, sourcers and talent leaders that searches more than 1 billion profiles across external sources and your ATS, and scores candidates on AI scorecards against your own ideal-candidate rubric (product page). It adds expertise signals from patents, GitHub and publications.

  • Integrations: Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Bullhorn and others, with bidirectional sync.
  • Compliance: SOC 2 Type 2 since June 2023, SAML single sign-on, ISO/IEC 42001 and 23894, hosted on Microsoft Azure (security page).
  • Languages: not stated on the vendor's site.
  • Limitation: its pages sell contact credits but do not say whether they cover phone numbers, emails or both (plans page).

Gem

Gem is an AI-first recruiting platform that combines an AI sourcing agent over 800M+ profiles with a CRM, scheduling, analytics and its own ATS (product page). Gem says its ATS is best for growing teams with up to a few thousand employees, and that larger companies can run Gem's agents on top of the ATS they already have.

  • Integrations: Greenhouse, Workday, Lever, iCIMS and more, or Gem's own ATS.
  • Languages: not stated on the vendor's site.
  • Limitation: the product page describes "verified contact info" and email-finding, and does not mention phone numbers (product page).
