Vort takes privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect - both about recruiters who use the product, and about candidates we surface - and how we handle it.
Vort is operated from Israel. The data controller for this site and product is Vort. Contact: hey@vort-sourcing.com.
Vort surfaces candidate profiles from publicly available web sources and enriches them with publicly available contact information. We do not scrape behind login walls, bypass anti-bot mechanisms, or buy data from dubious brokers.
Candidates can exercise their data-subject rights - access, correction, deletion, opt-out - via our consent portal or by emailing hey@vort-sourcing.com. We honour these requests within 30 days, in line with GDPR and Israeli Privacy Law.
We do not sell candidate or recruiter data. We do not use candidate data to train third-party models.
We share data with a small number of sub-processors needed to run the product (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing). On request we'll send the current sub-processor list.
Recruiter account data is retained for the life of the account plus 12 months. Candidate data is refreshed periodically; opt-out requests result in permanent suppression within 30 days.
We follow standard industry practices: encryption in transit and at rest, principle-of-least-privilege access, monitoring and audit logs. Formal certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001) are on our roadmap - we'll publish them here when we hold them, not before.
Whether you're a recruiter or a candidate, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. Email hey@vort-sourcing.com to exercise them. If we can't resolve a complaint, you can complain to your local supervisory authority (in Israel: the Privacy Protection Authority; in the EU: your national DPA).
The marketing site uses only first-party essential cookies and lightweight, privacy-preserving analytics. The product app uses session cookies required for authentication.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
